Cormac and Fiona McKeegan
When visiting this beautiful seaside village – do NOT miss a visit to one of Ireland’s smallest pubs – Mary McBride’s. Say hello to owners Cormac and his sister Fiona while enjoying a pint of Guinness and chatting with one or two of the locals. This Pub has tons of history based on the life of the original owner, Mary McBride.
The original 5 x 9 ft bar is located to the front of the premises is now home to our Irish Whiskey Bar. The collection houses over 50 individual Irish Whiskeys with at least 30 available to purchase.
We are a traditional old style house pub, with a few modern features. Downstairs is a traditional Irish family run pub serving a 'Pub Grub' menu, with many an evening turning into a sing song. We’ve got music most Saturday evenings and Mary’s Sunday session from 4pm every Sunday Bar menu from April to October Monday – Sunday.
Restaurant Manager Sarah will welcome you to the relaunched 'Little Black Door' restaurant where Head Chef Charlie McAuley will prepare a wide range of local seafood dishes; the menu also includes chicken, duck and steak.
